Operations Manager (f/m/x)

About the Role
We are looking for a sharp, highly motivated individual to join our operations team at icon incar. This role offers a combination of project management, financial analysis, analytical ability, problem-solving and interpersonal skills to work together with key stakeholders. You'll have the opportunity to work on everything from strategy, process, and execution, helping to take UI/UX projects from concept through to delivery. The Operations Manager will help support the senior and executive operations team and help continue to support icon incar as the leading automotive UI/UX agency.

Responsibilities
  • Support the management and execution of all projects from our stakeholders and leadership in the operations team including the COO, Sr. Director of Operations and Design Operations Director. 
  • Deliver data analysis and own the data corresponding to key OKRs and company KPIs. 
  • Keep a good overview of top projects and be an ambassador of the purpose behind the business.
  • Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective way. 
  • Coordinate with other departments within the company to ensure that the appropriate resources are available to meet project demands. 
  • Manage budgets and expenditures to ensure that the department meets its goals whiles staying within the company’s budget. 
  • Check on the status of projects at various stages of development to ensure that they are progressing as planned. 
  • Monitor operational data to identify any problems that may need to be addressed immediately. 
  • Review project proposals from start to finish to ensure that they meet all company standards for quality and compliance with industry regulations. 
  • Find ways to increase efficiency, eliminate downtime, optimize costs, and maintain performance at scale. 
Qualifications
  • Degree in business administration or similar with 2-5 years of experience in both business development and marketing. Business consulting or other entrepreneurial positions with proven track record are a plus.  
  • Ideally you have experience in the mobility, technology or OEM industries. 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership to advance projects and strategies. 
  • A strong sense of urgency to get things done. Talk the talk and walk the walk. Experience with agile methodologies, specially design thinking are expected to approach and follow up progress of growth activities and projects. 
  • Strong analytics, data driven approaches and high confidence with numbers to create business plans, business models, estimates and business cases with a customer centric mindset. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English (German is a huge plus), ability to efficiently deal with various stakeholders and senior management. 
  • Resiliency to go through challenges and ability to adapt to current market changes and opportunities. 
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including but not limited to colleagues and clients. 
  • Critical competencies include ability to learn on the job, focus on job quality and productivity, adaptability and strong decision making/judgement skills. 
  • Very proficient in the use of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 
  • Should ideally be resident in or close to Berlin, Ingolstadt or Munich.
