Senior Project Manager - Digital

About the Role
As our new Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with our business development team and department heads, as well as our other studios on collaborative projects across the globe. You will oversees ongoing coordination of personnel and resources required to successfully complete projects. You will be responsible for process design and optimization in areas spanning from project delivery and vendor management, to resourcing, scheduling, and project controlling.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities: 

  • Working with global teams on collaborative projects across studios 
  • Being a leader on client communication and deliverables 
  • Mentoring, coaching, and supporting employee personal development
  • Acting as the point of contact for first escalation level on projects
  • Creating, reviewing, and scoping SOWs for new business with the leadership team
  • Supporting more junior team members with scheduling deliverables 
  • Leading project health reporting
  • Actively managing the agency’s more complex projects 
  • Working with the leadership team to allocate labor resources to active projects 
  • Updating status reports, communicating resourcing needs and availabilities globally
  • Working with the Human Resources Manager to oversee proper onboarding of freelancers and temporary employees as appropriate, related to active projects.
  • Coordinating workload forecast based on pipeline
  • Together with finance, coordinating project-related billing 
  • Ensuring sales pipe is current to support an accurate P&L
  • Working with the COO to ensure financial stability of projects all-up 
  • Defining and owning process design and optimization 
  • Maintaining and improving process to ensure compliance 
  • Defining, creating, and recommending project management and controlling tools.
Qualifications
Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or similar field from an accredited university; iconmobile will consider equivalent experience as a substitute for the education requirement
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in project / product management required, including managing substantial ($1MM+) budgets.
  • At least 3 years’ experience at an agency (digital / creative agencies preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience using Agile / Waterfall methodologies is required
  • PMP, SCRUM Master, or CAPM certification is preferred
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools is required
  • Understand agency life 
  • Have strong creative problem-solving skills 
  • Are excited with client interactions 
  • Can relax, be easy going, and have a fun personality 
  • Are highly collaborative but able to work independently 
  • Have a passion for design and connected experiences
